Name: H. 'Amie Bleue' - 2008
Description: Heart-shaped green leaves with blue undertones. Good substance.
Size: Medium-Large or Large
Origin: For a long time, I thought this hosta originated from H. 'Blue Shadows'. I now believe it to be an open-pollinated seedling of H. Great Expectations as the leaf size and shape is very similar and it flowers at the same time with a similar flower.
Flowers: White in early July
Source: my garden
Added to garden: found Spring 2005
Name: H. 'Amie Bleue' - 2009
Notes: My very own seedling. Named in honour of my granddaughter, Amy and also as a play on words of ‘Am I blue?’ It has a bluish cast, but isn't REALLY blue.

Another which has seen growth both in plant size and in leaf size.
H. 'Amie Bleue' - 2010
I have mixed feelings about this one. It's getting rather large and I'm not really sure I want to devote so much garden space to it.
I divided it Autumn 2010. Some divisions were sold in my spring 2011 plant sale and the last one now lives in the hosta garden at my church.

This plant is an attractive blue and is growing well.
Name: Seedling of H. ‘Blue Jay’ - 2010
This one is growing too large for its present location.
I divided it in Autumn 2010 and sold off the divisions in my Spring 2011 plant sale.
